In 2022, I was chosen to be a member of Roger Williams' team for the National Student Advertising Competition. The National Student Advertising Competition (NSAC), hosted by the American Advertising Federation, is an annual competition where college students create and present a comprehensive marketing campaign for a real client. It provides hands-on experience in advertising, marketing, and teamwork, with feedback from industry professionals and opportunities to compete at regional and national levels. For the 2022-2023 competition, our client was Indeed.
For the first semester, we worked exclusively on marketing research to help us learn more about the brand, our target audience, and campaign goals. The second semester was dedicated to building the campaign and deliverables, which included merchandise, static and video advertisements, immersive experiences, and other brand activations.
The most important deliverable is the "Plans Book" which outlines all of our research and campaign information.
